We all need a place to escape, even if it’s only for a day, and Winter Haven artists, Laurie and Caroline Hart, did just that! On a recent overnight stay at Camp Margaritaville Auburndale, a luxury RV and Cabin Resort in Central Florida.
“What’s not to love about this pristine piece of paradise” says Laurie. Located an hour southwest of Orlando, Florida. Featuring 326 oversized RV sites, including 11 Super Premium RV Suites and Cabana Cabins. “The resort is only 7.4 miles from our home on Lake Hartridge, but the tropical vibes and sound of the late Jimmy Buffett’s latest song “BUBBLES UP” filled our souls and we felt like we we’re a million miles away.” Laurie adds.
Laurie and Caroline Hart, co-owners of HART ART and full-time residents of Winter Haven, the wife and wife duo known to others as the Hart’s. “Our art is often inspired by life experiences, from people, places and things that we found inspiring along the way. Even our own self made tiki bar, with the spirit of Aloha is found in our art.” Explains Caroline.
Reservations were made for a waterfront Cabana Cabin. To many it would be referred to as “GLAMPING” A 5 - star luxury suite with a full kitchen , spacious living area and bedroom with top - end king mattress. “We loved this home away from home and one of my favorite spots was the front porch, with views of Lake Myrtle.” Says Caroline.
Caroline loved the serenity and felt inspired to break out her easel to work on a tribute piece of art of the late Jimmy Buffett, to be featured at the upcoming Paradise Market on November 5th from 9AM-2PM. "I couldn't wish for a better place to feel the creative juices flowing than right here on this porch." Says Caroline.
The brand new Paradise Pavilion is an event space at Camp Margaritaville Auburndale, it's an ideal setting for your next celebration! Also home to the Paradise Market Small Business Sunday. “ We are beyond excited to be given this wonderful opportunity to showcase and sell our art at Camp Margaritaville. The term “Starving Artist” is real and we cannot be more grateful to receive support from such a well known brand.” Said Laurie.

Titled - Bubbles Up
After a dip in one of the two heated pools, Laurie and Caroline enjoyed the delicious bites from the Feeding Frenzy and Frank & Lola’s Pizzeria, then explored the rest of the resort.
“There’s lots to do, a haven for all ages, from a 147 ft waterslide, Splash Pad, mini golf, corn hole, live entertainment and other themed activities, wait, did I mention this pet friendly resort even had a pet spa! Yes! A pet spa!" Caroline laughs. “I highly recommend downloading the Camp Margaritaville Auburndale app from the app store.” Laurie mentions.
“Let’s not forget the Tiki Bar! " Giggles Laurie "The only disappoint during our time at Camp Margaritaville was it ended too soon. We’ll definitely be back for another sleepover."
"Jimmy is greatly missed by us and so many who came for the party, but we’ll keep the party going through our art, in hopes it will make the hearts of others happy. Bubbles Up!” Said the Hart's."
